Oklahoma State vs. Ole Miss

ARLINGTON, Texas - The stage for the 74th AT&T Cotton Bowl is set. Oklahoma State University will face the University of Mississippi in the first Classic at Cowboys Stadium.

Cowboys and Rebels athletic officials formally accepted an invitation extended by Cotton Bowl Athletic Association Chairman Kathy Saunders on Sunday.

"What a tremendous way for us to open a new era at our new home," Saunders said. "We couldn't be more thrilled with our matchup, and needless to say, with these two great teams and a world-class facility, January 2nd will be a Classic to remember."

Oklahoma State, 9-3 overall and 6-2 in the Big 12 Conference, will face Ole Miss, 8-4 and 4-4 in the Southeastern Conference, in a rematch of the 2004 Classic where the Rebels, led by Eli Manning, defeated the Cowboys, 31-28. The 2010 Classic will mark only the second time OSU and Ole Miss have faced each other with both meetings in the AT&T Cotton Bowl.

"This game provides some great story lines, and certainly sets up to be one of the best bowl matchups this year," CBAA Team Selection Chairman Fin Ewing said.

The 2010 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic will be nationally televised on FOX, and kickoff is set for 1 p.m. on January 2nd. General tickets can be ordered online at www.attcottonbowl.com or by calling 888-792-BOWL (2695).
