MEXICO v ECUADOR – AT&T Stadium – May 31
The May 31 U.S. tour match will mark the fifth time Mexico plays at the state-of-the-art Texas venue since its 2009 inauguration. The venue last hosted El Tricolor in July 2013, when more than 80,000 fans attended the CONCACAF Gold Cup semifinals.
The match between Mexico and Ecuador in Arlington will mark the 19th encounter between both teams, with a record of 12-2-5 in favor of El Tricolor. The last meeting between the two squads in May 2011 in Seattle ended in a 1-1 draw. Led bymidfielder Antonio Valencia (Manchester United/England), and their head coach Reinaldo Rueda, Ecuador will face Switzerland, France and Honduras in Group E of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Tickets for the May 31 match in Arlington will go on sale at a later date via Ticketmaster outlets.
